Franz Ferdinand Showbox Seattle Gig Poster 2006 Anniversary Edition

70.00

Original screenprinted concert poster for Franz Ferdinand, presented by Monqui, at The Showbox in Seattle. Dated June 8th, this is the 2006 Anniversary Edition reprint of the original gig poster. Designed by Jesse LeDoux of Patent Pending and printed by Patent Pending Press, the poster features a striking two-colour screenprint in hot pink and grey. The central illustration depicts a faceless figure in a pink button-down shirt set against a sketched urban streetscape — a style consistent with LeDoux’s celebrated illustrative poster work. The band name ‘Franz Ferdinand’ is rendered in bold, hand-lettered pink script across the figure’s blank face, creating a witty visual play. Supporting text reads ‘Monqui presents… and special guests.’ Show details note $15.00 advance tickets via TicketsWest, doors at 8pm, 21+ event. The poster carries a pencil signature in the lower right corner. A highly collectible piece from a key moment in indie rock — Franz Ferdinand were at peak popularity following their debut and ‘You Could Have It So Much Better’ — and Jesse LeDoux is one of the most respected names in Pacific Northwest gig poster art.

Poster appears to be in very good condition overall. No visible tears, pinholes, or significant foxing observed. The screenprint registration appears slightly off in places (visible in close-up shots), which is consistent with hand-printing and not a defect. Pencil signature present lower right. No visible fold lines or tape residue from photos.
