The design is a masterclass in minimalist graphic boldness: a stark black silhouette of a soldier carrying a rifle with bayonet stands atop a dramatically stepped staircase rendered in ascending horizontal black bands, all set against a cream background. The composition creates a powerful sense of monumental heroism through economy of means.
