A striking screenprinted concert poster for Interpol performing at the Paramount Theatre on Friday, October 22, with support from Secret Machines. This is the 2006 Anniversary Edition, designed by Jeff Kleinsmith of Patent Pending (Seattle) and printed by Patent Pending Press. The poster is executed in a bold three-colour palette of vivid yellow, deep navy blue, and red-orange, with an arresting central image of a skeletal or anatomical figure rendered in halftone dots — the torso exposed to reveal rib-cage-like structures, the head a diffuse circular mass of dots. A futuristic cityscape runs along the bottom edge. The band name ‘Interpol’ appears in large white knockout lettering set against a navy band across the mid-section. Show details note: presented by The Showbox, Sealed With a Kiss, and 107.7 The End; tickets $20.00 advance, $22.00 day of show; doors at 7PM; all ages. The poster is hand-signed in silver pen at the lower right, consistent with Jeff Kleinsmith’s signature style. A highly collectible piece from the post-punk revival era, representing some of the finest concert poster art to come out of the Pacific Northwest scene.
A small crease or nick is visible at the top edge of the poster near the centre (visible in the back/reverse detail shot). The printed surface itself appears clean with no visible foxing, tears, or tape residue. Overall condition appears very good.
